JUTA was established when the Jamaican government realised the dynamic potential of tourism industry in the country and decided to reorganise the ground transportation services. JUTA is an associated member of Jamaica Hotel and Tourist Association (JHTA), American Society of Travel Agents (ASTA), Jamaica Chamber of Commerce (JCC) and Caribbean Hotel Association (CHA).
The Jamaica Union of Travellers Association (J.U.T.A.) came into existence in 1973 and has burgeoned to Eight Chapters Island wide. JUTA Chapters operate for the following areas:

JUTA runs a safe and trusted transportation service system in Jamaica. Our Executive Directors
Noel Williams, President, of the Jamaica Union of Travellers Association (J.U.T.A) Limited, Kingston Chapter, is a twenty-six year veteran of the transportation industry. He started in JUTA as a driver in 1989 before becoming an owner/member in 2001. In the same year he was appointed as Assistant Line Manager. Recognizing his ability to lead and his vision to transform the overall operations at the Norman Manley International Airport JUTA base, he was elected to serve as Line Manager/Director in 2004; however, with his leadership abilities and knowledge of the business he was elected to serve as President/Director of JUTA – KC on July 10th, 2014. Mr. Williams is responsible for leading the strategy to transform the association into a new and exciting phase of the business.
Mr. Williams was recognized by the University of the West Indies for his excellent and dedicated services over the years with an award to show their appreciation. He has rendered his services to several other Universities and International groups, such as the University of Tennessee, Maryland and Florida State Universities, just to name a few. He was also recognized with an humanitarian award from JUTA for his swift and humble assistance in the crash of the American Airline Flight in December 2009.
Clinton Bailey assumed the role of Secretary/Director of the Jamaica Union of Travellers Association (J.U.T.A) Limited, Kingston Chapter on the 10th of July 2014 after being a member since May 10th, 2001 and a driver for approximately ten years before membership. With his passion and experience in the ground transportation industry, he has established several long lasting business relationships working with a number of dynamic companies, that continues to praise him on his professionalism, excellent driving skills – resulting in the passengers feeling safe and secure on the road.
Clinton is a person who operates on an open door policy and facilitates team building with the view of achieving high performance. His goal is to maintain transparency and good governance within the association.
George McDonald, Treasurer/Director, is a true entrepreneur within the Jamaica Union of Travellers Association (JUTA) Limited, Kingston Chapter. He is an owner/operator of a fleet of motor vehicles serving the travel sector. Mr. McDonald joined the Jamaica Union of Travellers Association (JUTA) Limited, Kingston Chapter family on July 12th, 2004.
Recognizing his ability to lead and his vision to grow the association’s revenues, he was elected to serve as Treasurer/Director on July 10th, 2014. As the Treasurer/Director he is responsible for planning and strategizing on how to effectively maximizing revenue in JUTA – KC. He is married and a proud father of one son.
